In and around Hermanus there is plenty to do and see. Whale watching up close and personal or close enough from the Cliff Walk path during the whale season has made Hermanus a world famous destination. There are invigorating and leisurely walks all around and close to the cottage. Art galleries, markets, shops and a variety of restaurants to choose from.

For the more adventurous there is hiking, mountain biking, surfing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, running and golf courses for a morning of fun. There is something for everyone young and old.
